Import from SuperMemoCE

MemoDroid features the ability to import XML file generated from SuperMemoCE which contains all your learning data including intervals and difficulty levels for every item of the SuperMemo database.

This article shows you how to perform the transition.

  • First, you need to export your data to XML file in SuperMemo. This feature is located in menu File -> Export -> XML
  • Copy the exported xml file to the /sdcard/miianworks/memodroid/ on your phone.
  • Run MemoDroid. There are two ways to import XML file,
    • Import to a new memo: press menu and select "Import".
    • Import to an existing memo: long press the memo, then select "Import" from the context menu

    In the file browser, select the xml file you wanted, then the import process will start.

  • For a large databases, the import process will take considerably longer time to complete.
  • After the import is complete, if you chose to import to a new memo, the memo setting dialog will popup so you can chage the name or initial setting of it.
