FileField as View Type module for drupal 6  

With the built-in view support of CCK, custom content can only be used as part of a node. You can create a view based on node and display all content it contains. However, what if user want to browse these content independently?

For example, I have a blog set-up for posting photos, using CCK and ImageField. Every blog post can have multiple photos, and every photo have its own title, taxonomy and description. It is natural that, apart from the original blog post layout, user wish to view these photos in some other way, maybe filtered by their category, creation time, title, description and file type, or even create a page that contains all the photos from the blog.

So, I think it would be great if we can use these CCK content independently, by making these content work as base tables(or view types).

To achieve this goal, I made the module. After enabled, it will define every FileField content table as base table by implementing hook_views_data(). So these tables can be selected as a view type in create new view form.

The module itself is quite simple, only a few lines of code. No db modification is required.
